The Young Athletes Program is a sport play program for children ages 2 ½ to 7 years who have a disability and/or developmental delay. Young Athletes learn basic sport skills through fun based games and physical activities (throwing, catching, balancing, kicking, jumping, walking and running). While young athletes practice their sports skills they gain motor skills like balance, flexibility, strength and coordination. Transportation is not provided; parents/guardians will need to transport their child to/from the event, and remain in a waiting area during the session.
