You do not need to be a Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 student or classroom to participate. All district students and classroom are welcome.
All athletes must have an athlete Medical Form on file with Northampton County Special Olympics. All athletes must train at least eight weeks for a sport:
Teachers or parents may register their athletes for an event.
Several NCSO Committee Members traveled out to State College PA for the 2016 Special Olympics PA Leadership Conference. Global Ambassador Tyler Y. participated in the 3rd Annual Athlete Congress with athletes from across the state, while the other attend workshops on various topics.
Our new fitness program kicked off on Tuesday September 6th at the Charles Chrin Community Center. The program is lead by NCSO athlete Tyler Y. The program will run for three more Tuesdays (13th, 20th and 27th). We hope you will join Tyler as he leads his fellow athletes and teaches them about the importance of athlete fitness.
